Privacy notice
This notice explains how LYT Technology and Management Limited (“LYT”, “we”) collects and uses personal data for LYT Salesforce Academy and this website, salesforce.lyt-techm.com. We are the controller of this data under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

This website
- We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
- Fonts and images are served from our own site, so your browser does not contact Google or other font services.
- The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
- The practice exams run entirely in your browser. Your answers and scores are saved only on your own device (browser storage) and are never sent to us.
What we collect and why

We never sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run our systems for us: Cloudflare (website and student portal hosting), Google Workspace (email and course documents), WhatsApp (messages) and the video platform we use for live classes. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
- Employers or recruiters, only when you ask us to refer you.
- Professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it.
Some providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or addendum.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment: deleted within 12 months of our last contact.
- Student records: kept for up to six years after your course ends, for accounting and so we can verify certificates.
- Class recordings: deleted within 12 months of the batch ending.
- Mock interview recordings: deleted when you ask, and at the latest 12 months after the recording.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to move it to another provider. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@lyt-techm.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
Changes
We will update this page if the way we use personal data changes, and change the date at the top.
